This piece began as a painting in my studio long before it ever became jewelry. After selecting the section of the artwork that held the strongest movement and energy, it was carefully set into a 40 × 50 mm copper bezel, and sealed in layers of resin and iridescent
The copper setting allows the deep Prussian blue tones to develop a luminous, almost cosmic glow. Organic bursts of light move across the surface like distant stars or currents in deep water—an effect that only reveals itself fully as the piece catches light.
Each step of the process is deliberate: painting, curing, layering, polishing, and finally assembling the copper setting.
The result is a quiet but powerful statement piece—a fragment of original artwork transformed into wearable form.
