"Anita's Tears"

"Anita's Tears"

from $18.00

Anita’s Tears is part of my Representation Matters series. She was painted in response to the supreme court nomination for Brett Kavanaugh. Throughout the process, I couldn’t help but think back to the Anita Hill hearings over 30 years ago and hang my head knowing we were still in the same place, still confirming the same oppressive systems.

The original print is a 10x10 Acrylic on canvas but you ca order prints in much larger sizes. You can also find this image on an array of coffee mugs, bags, masks, etc on my Fine Art America Page.

A note about prints:

Archival Matte Paper Print (AMP): A fine art paper, also known as Moab Lasal Photo Matte. Its an economical favorite and standard for all my prints. It features a smooth surface, heavy weight (230 g, 9.5-mil), neutral white, matte paper engineered for accurate color reproduction that provides high contrast and high-resolution output. This paper is acid-free making it archival quality.

Giclee - This is a thick (21-mil) heavy weight (310g) paper with the luxurious style of traditional artists' papers. It has a natural-white, matte finish with a textured watercolor feel.

Canvas -  This is a gallery wrapped artist grade canvas print. This will come with a black backing and hardware attached and ready to hang. Its 1.25” in depth

If you want to frame one of my paintings, I would recommend the giclee or AMP. If you are a serious art collector, you can’t go wrong with the giclee. It’s classic.

If however, you want to hang something that looks like the actual painting, I highly recommend the canvas print. It’s a beautiful professional quality and the prices are often better than the paper prints.
