"Xiomara"

"Xiomara"

from $18.00

“Xiomara” means warrior, or in Arabic can refer to the stranger. Such a strong name seemed fitting for a fierce woman, who is not afraid to be different. Xiomara has a deep understanding and compassion for the human condition and the will to make the world a better place. She will not tolerate injustice and will inspire others to do the same.

The original print is a 20x20 Acrylic on canvas and took nearly a year to complete. You can can order prints from 10x10 to 40x40 and also find this image on an array of coffee mugs, bags, masks, etc on my Fine Art America Page.

A note about prints:

Archival Matte Paper Print (AMP): A fine art paper, also known as Moab Lasal Photo Matte. Its an economical favorite and standard for all my prints. It features a smooth surface, heavy weight (230 g, 9.5-mil), neutral white, matte paper engineered for accurate color reproduction that provides high contrast and high-resolution output. This paper is acid-free making it archival quality.

Giclee - This is a thick (21-mil) heavy weight (310g) paper with the luxurious style of traditional artists' papers. It has a natural-white, matte finish with a textured watercolor feel.

Canvas -  This is a gallery wrapped artist grade canvas print. This will come with a black backing and hardware attached and ready to hang. Its 1.25” in depth

If you want to frame one of my paintings, I would recommend the giclee or AMP. If you are a serious art collector, you can’t go wrong with the giclee. It’s classic.

If however, you want to hang something that looks like the actual painting, I highly recommend the canvas print. It’s a beautiful professional quality and the prices are often better than the paper prints.
